What is this project about?
Overview
This project aims to analyse behavioural, cognitive, social, and sensory challenges that the autistic kids experience during their learning years and propose a redesigned version of existing education material to help these students meet their special needs while fostering inclusivity in the classroom.
The Challenge
Despite the need to practice inclusive learning methods in schools and instructions for the same, autistic children often fail to get the help they need in understanding course material. Understanding every child's individual needs is a difficult task.
Opportunity
By providing resources and tools that help teachers better understand and support autistic students. Sensory and cognitive disorders are rarely focused on in the education sector, I aim to increase awareness about autism and other neurodivergent disorders through careful research about the subject.
